DIRECTIONS
From I-235 Westbound
Take the Third Street exit then travel south approximately six blocks to the Civic Center.
From I-235 Eastbound
Take the 5th Avenue/Third Street exit then travel south approximately six blocks.
Parking
Meter parking surrounds the venue. Parking meters charge Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Visit the Greater Des Moines Partnership for more information on parking.
Valet: Available at most performances. Advanced valet purchases are available through the ticket office or online. Starting one hour prior to the performance valet is available for purchase curbside.
Fourth and Grand Parking Ramp: You may enter this parking garage from Grand Avenue, just east of Fourth Street or you may enter the garage from Fourth Street, just north of Locust Street. Event parking fees are charged at most downtown ramps.
Third and Court Parking Ramp: You may enter this parking garage directly from Third Street, just south of Walnut Avenue. Event parking fees are charged at most downtown ramps. This ramp is connected to the Civic Center by Skywalk.
Elliott Apartments - Located at 216 3rd St. and 219 4th st. Downtown Des Moines: This is a surface pay lot that costs $5.
Charters and Groups: Your group may be asked to walk the equivalent of 3-4 blocks from where your bus is parked to reach the theater.
Getting To Your Seat
Enter the Civic Center through the Ticket Office Lobby on the southwest or use the northeast entrances. The ticket window and will call are located at the southwest corner of the building at the bottom of the Skywalk entrance stairs. See the seating chart for the closest door to your seat. If attending a performance in the Stoner Theater, please use the Ticket Office entrance on the southwest corner of the building.

From I-235 Westbound
Take the Seventh Street exit then travel south approximately six blocks to Grand Avenue. Turn west on Grand Avenue and travel to Tenth Street. Turn south to Locust St.
From I-235 Eastbound:
Take the Third Street exit then travel south approximately six blocks to Grand Avenue. Turn west on Grand Avenue and travel to Tenth Street. Turn south to Locust St.
Parking
Free parking is available in the parking lot south of Locust St. between 9th and 10th Streets after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and free on the weekends. On-street metered parking is available throughout downtown. Parking meters charge Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Getting To Your Seat
Enter the theater through the main doors on Locust Street. The ticket windows and will call are located straight back from the main doors, and elevators up to the theater are to the left of ticketing. The Temple Theater is located on the second floor. Once upstairs, the theater is to the right off the elevators.
